Negative air ion concentration is one of the environmental indicators monitored by the scenic area, but the complex terrain, winter snow, large temperature differences, and changing local microclimate make regular manual sampling difficult. A fixed monitoring station was therefore needed to provide continuous field data rather than relying on occasional measurements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project deployed an integrated negative air ion and weather monitoring station to measure negative air ions, air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and wind direction, with data transmitted remotely through 4G and displayed on an outdoor LED screen. Snow, exposed rocks, tree obstruction, and difficult access were all considered when selecting the monitoring point. The team also checked local wind exposure, solar conditions, drainage, and future maintenance access to determine a practical installation position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the point was confirmed, the team completed the foundation and mounting pole installation and then installed the multi-sensor weather station, negative air ion monitoring equipment, outdoor enclosure, communication antenna, and solar power system. Outdoor cable joints were sealed and protected against water and low temperatures, with wiring and equipment connections checked during installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the hardware was installed, engineers carried out power, sensor, and communication tests in sequence. Temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, and negative air ion data were checked during trial operation, while the 4G communication link and LED display were tested for stable data transmission and real-time updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before handover, the team reviewed the complete system under actual site conditions and confirmed that data acquisition, remote transmission, and on-site display were functioning normally. team found the automatic monitoring and remote data access useful for daily work. In particular, the station reduced the need for staff to enter the forest frequently for manual sampling and made the monitoring data easier to review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>\u201cThe biggest improvement for us is that we no longer need to make frequent trips into the forest just to take negative air ion readings. The station collects the data automatically, and we can check the latest readings remotely. The LED display is also useful because visitors can see the current environmental data directly at the scenic area.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, the management team considered the system a practical addition to the existing environmental monitoring work.
