In 2025, our company delivered a weather monitoring system for a solar power plant in Kyrgyzstan. The project required the installation of a professional weather station capable of supporting photovoltaic (PV) performance assessment and operation & maintenance (O&M) management through continuous and accurate meteorological data collection.
Once commissioned, the solar weather station would provide real-time monitoring of solar radiation and environmental conditions, supplying reliable data for energy yield analysis, plant performance evaluation, operational optimization, and long-term maintenance planning.

Project Challenges
As an overseas project, the installation and commissioning schedule was limited, requiring efficient coordination between equipment deployment and on-site implementation.
The available installation area offered limited unobstructed space, making it necessary to balance weather station installation standards with measurement accuracy. In addition, differences in the local network environment required customized configuration of the communication system to ensure stable remote data transmission and seamless integration with the client’s monitoring platform.

To ensure successful project delivery, two experienced field engineers were assigned to the site for installation and commissioning.
Based on site conditions, the team completed the installation of the meteorological mast, sensor mounting, equipment wiring, and power supply deployment. After hardware installation, the data logger, communication modules, and monitoring platform were integrated and tested.
Communication parameters were optimized according to local network conditions to ensure reliable real-time data transmission. During system commissioning, continuous sampling and comparative verification were conducted for all monitored parameters, with particular attention given to data accuracy, communication stability, and remote access functionality.
The testing process confirmed that the photovoltaic weather monitoring system met all project requirements before final handover.

نتائج المشروع
Following installation, system integration, and comprehensive testing, the weather station was successfully commissioned and delivered to the client. All monitored parameters operated within the required specifications, and communication links remained stable throughout the testing period.
The system now provides continuous meteorological monitoring data for the solar power plant, supporting solar resource assessment, PV performance analysis, operational management, and maintenance decision-making. The successful completion of this project also strengthened our experience in delivering weather monitoring solutions for international renewable energy projects.
