200 Sets of Greenhouse Temperature Controllers for “Cucumber Town”

To promote smart agriculture development in Handan, we cooperated with the local Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau to upgrade greenhouse facilities in Guantao “Cucumber Town”, Fudong Modern Agriculture Park, and more than 20 agricultural bases across the region.

Client Requirements
With the expansion of greenhouse cucumber cultivation, traditional manual management methods were no longer sufficient for stable production. Farmers needed a smart greenhouse solution to improve climate control and reduce labor dependency. The client’s requirements are as follows:

Based on local greenhouse farming conditions, we provided an integrated smart greenhouse solution combining environmental monitoring, ventilation automation, and soil management. Through this system, growers can monitor and control greenhouse conditions anytime via mobile devices. The solution included:
- Installation of temperature sensor in greenhouse for real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, light, and CO₂ levels
- Deployment of 4G smart greenhouse ventilation fans for automatic and remote ventilation control
- Installation of tube-type soil monitoring sensors for continuous soil condition tracking
- Cloud platform and mobile APP for unified greenhouse data management
- Automatic alarm system for abnormal environmental conditions

Project Results
After implementation, greenhouse management in the region became more efficient and data-driven. Traditional experience-based farming methods were gradually replaced by smart greenhouse systems.
Growers reported that when temperature exceeded preset limits, the greenhouse temperature controller system would automatically activate without manual intervention. Through the mobile APP, they could monitor greenhouse conditions anytime, even when away from the farm.
This smart greenhouse upgrade project significantly improved cucumber production stability and reduced labor pressure. It also provided a scalable smart agriculture model for Handan’s facility farming industry, supporting the long-term development of digital greenhouse agriculture in “Cucumber Town.”
