Project Background

We delivered a custom compact agricultural weather station solution for a large-scale leafy vegetable planting greenhouse base in Shandong, solving long-standing microclimate monitoring troubles brought by traditional manual planting management.

Relying solely on manual patrols and subjective experience, their team could not track real-time microclimate changes inside polytunnels. Fluctuations in temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide disrupted crop photosynthesis, resulting in inconsistent vegetable quality, low average yields and wasted labor on unnecessary ventilation and irrigation checks. Without standardized environmental data logs, they were unable to optimize planting cycles or diagnose growth lag issues accurately.

Our compact greenhouse weather station supports round-the-clock unattended microclimate monitoring. It collects temperature, humidity, CO₂ and light intensity data in real time, stores historical records locally and uploads data to agricultural cloud via 4G transmission. The matched outdoor LED display synchronizes on-site environmental readings, enabling field operators to adjust ventilation and irrigation without logging into backend systems.
