Project Background

Completed and officially deployed in 2017, this project adopts Yantai rainfall sensors to build stable and accurate automatic rainfall monitoring systems for multi-scenario public and industrial monitoring fields. Covering meteorological stations, hydrological stations, agricultural and forestry bases, national defense facilities and hydropower station water condition monitoring scenarios, the sensor realizes real-time remote telemetry of liquid precipitation, rainfall intensity and rainfall start-stop time.

Serving as core perception equipment for hydrological early warning and environmental monitoring, it supports automatic data collection and remote reporting of hydropower station water regime data, effectively assisting flood prevention control and standardized automatic hydrological monitoring management.

Project Requirements

Traditional rainfall monitoring relies on manual timing observation and recording, featuring low data acquisition frequency, large human error and poor real-time performance.

In flood-prone hydropower station and watershed environments, untimely rainfall data update leads to delayed flood risk judgment, unable to support rapid early warning and scheduling decisions.

The complete outdoor meteorological and hydrological monitoring system adopts integrated collaborative hardware configuration, mainly composed of Tipping Bucket Rain Sensor and Three-cup Anemometer, matched with professional signal transmission modules and remote monitoring terminals. The two core sensors independently monitor rainfall and wind speed data respectively, realizing synchronized, automatic and high-precision collection of on-site meteorological and hydrological information.
